The story behind “Hello”….
Sometimes, the most delightful things unexpected things happen, and if you’re lucky enough to have your camera with you at that precise moment, it’s exhilarating!
Jenna was having fun, playing with some bubbles on the patio…
… when, much to her surprise, one landed ever-so-perfectly, right on the tip of her nose!
Well, as you can imagine, the next hour was spent coaxing, pleading, and begging another one to do the same. I was in hysterics watching her try to will another one to cooperate.
When I brought that last photo up on my computer monitor, I laughed and laughed. I thought, Can you imagine how startled and delighted she would have been if she saw something IN the bubble? Like… a little fairy?! And what if it looked just like HER! Well, that of course, got my wheels spinning, and it became the inspiration for my painting, “Hello.”
